Bluegrass Gospel Music Concert

In this gospel focused program, Shannon and the band will present a collection of music drawn from traditional and contemporary bluegrass, country, Americana, folk and southern gospel influences. Shannon’s excellent lead vocal work, powerful but also nuanced, is paired with tight harmonies and acoustic accompaniment arranged to let the message shine through. Join us as we celebrate acoustic gospel music !

Rod and Will

Rod and Will began performing as an acoustic duo eight years ago at an open mic night in Wilson. Since then, they have taken their 90's acoustic driven rock and Americana sound to performances around North Carolina. Their music includes covers from groups ranging from the Dave Matthews Band to Death Cab for cuties along with songs from Americana artists like Jason Isbell and Sarah Jarosz. Rod has written a number of original songs including two they have recorded, "You're Here" and "Oliver's Song." You can find their music on all streaming platforms.
