Let's Talk

Sunday, October 19 at 4:00 p.m.
Meet in the Fellowship Hall, the modular building located behind the main church
Created by Jesse and Classis Waters in the aftermath of George Floyd's murder, "Let's Talk" provides a safe space for White people to become better able and more comfortable talking about race, racial healing, racism, and anti-racism, in all its forms. The original group, led by Jesse and Classis, met weekly to share their stories and their questions surrounding race. The group now meets monthly, via Zoom, with Jesse and Classis still involved but not leading. Join us as we meet Jesse and Classis, hear members share their experiences, and learn more about this group, whose goal is to promote racial healing.
